The programme aims to provide an in-depth exploration of AI and Virtual Worlds, encompassing various aspects and capabilities, as well as share insights on the practical applications of AI and its integration into daily life. Throughout the workshop, students will be equipped with effective strategies for implementing AI technology, fostering a solid understanding of its real-world applications. Additionally, the programme encourages the exchange of innovative ideas among students, cultivating a collaborative environment that fosters growth and creativity within the field.

 

The AI Engineer: Gen-AI and Virtual Worlds programme is an immersive, two-week summer programme designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects and applications of AI and the development of Virtual Worlds. The programme format will consist of interactive lectures, practitioner sharing, hands-on activities, group discussions, and practical demonstrations, allowing students to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

 

The programme is structured into morning and afternoon sessions, with each session focusing on specific topics such as the fundamentals of AI, its impact across diverse industries, and strategies for effective implementation of AI technologies in Virtual Worlds. Students will engage in collaborative projects on a group basis, fostering an exchange of innovative ideas and promoting the application of their newly acquired skills. To ensure the successful completion of these projects, additional workload outside of regular class hours may be necessary for project development and refinement.

 

Futhermore, the summer experience enables students to enhance their employment portfolio with a showcase project.
