Engage in an immersive learning experience with our comprehensive AI programme: AI Insider: Bridging Theory and Industrial Application that meticulously blends theoretical understanding with practical application in an array of diverse fields. This programme is specially designed to impart interdisciplinary AI knowledge, enabling students with varying technical background to adapt and apply it to a wide spectrum of integrated applications and technological innovations.
Our curriculum is uniquely structured around actual case studies of successful AI applications. This approach ensures that students gain first-hand insights into real-world scenarios, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. It fosters a deeper understanding of AI's versatile capabilities and potential, which is instrumental in developing innovative solutions to complex problems.

Climate education is recognized as a crucial tool in tackling the pressing challenges of climate change, with the United Nations emphasizing its importance. To equip the students with the necessary knowledge and skills, the program will include seminars and field trips. Upon completing these training activities, students will be provided with opportunities to develop their own climate projects, enabling them to make a positive impact on wider communities. A sharing session will be organized to showcase their project ideas and experiences.

Interdisciplinary learning is a trend that can enrich knowledge from different subjects for successful innovations. The Future Innovator in STEM programme focuses on cross-discipline learning, that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The programme begins with a foundation course on the design process concept, Artificial Intelligence, and Big data analysis which can develop the basic skillsets for the cycle “from ideas to products”. Moreover, students could consolidate their knowledge learned from different subjects to develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. The programme was designed with a hands-on practical workshop to apply theoretical knowledge to practice. Students can experience self-developed items by participating in two streams; Stream A (SISS2513A) for Data & AI Literacy for Modern Society with a mini project creation related to Technology OR for Stream B (SISS2513B) Innovations in developing the racing car.

This Japan study field trip program is designed to provide experiential learning for undergraduate students to enhance their understanding of business strategy, creativity and innovation, management philosophy, succession planning, SDGs and the sustainability of Japanese corporations. Acknowledged for their competitiveness in these areas, we aim to enrich the participants’ knowledge through visits to reputable Japanese corporations and interactions with senior Japanese executives.
This study field trip program aims to help participants develop a broad and competitive knowledge base in business management with a cross-cultural perspective, offering opportunities to apply these learnings in real-life business scenarios. By combining academic knowledge gained during intensive lectures with the practical industry insights from firm visits, participants can integrate and apply the materials learned throughout the programme effectively.
This program comprises two major components: a one-week lecture in Hong Kong and a one-week study field trip in Japan. The study field trip will encompass various themes, including customized topics like SDGs and sustainability, creativity and the service industry, succession planning, as well as core topics like cross-cultural management, product development and innovation, Japanese business management philosophy, Japanese craftsmanship spirit, and quality control.
At the conclusion of the field trip, students must deliver a final group presentation on an assigned topic, integrating their learnings from the trip into practical business scenarios.
