Cross Cultural Summer Enrichment Programme is a programme combined with languageexchange, and mentoring aimed at fostering knowledge sharing, expanding participants' networks, and creating a supportive environment for growth and connection.

During the upcoming summer holiday in 2025, fellows from overseas and HKU will collaborate to co-design classes for the participants at HKU. HKU lecturers will provide professional coaching to the fellows before they deliver their self-designed lessons. The programme will cover a diverse range of cross-cultural subjects, including humanities, social sciences, and more, with English serving as the medium of communication. Through active participation in this programme, students will have the opportunity to develop a global identity, embrace new values, and broaden their worldviews.

This course introduces young students to the creative industries, beginning with the emergence and nature of creative industries. It is then followed by a thorough discussion of creativity and how they can further develop their own creativity. The second half of the course focuses on the ways creativity is commercialized, marketed, branded and financed. Finally, students will be required to form a creative team to develop a business in the creative industries.

This course aims to promote gender equity, diversity, and awareness among students. It explores a wide range of contemporary issues through the lens of gender, including body positivity movements, ‘leftover women’, Black Lives Matter, and gender inclusion in the workplace. Students will examine how gender operates differently in individuals, communities, and institutions. They will develop a stronger sensitivity to gender stereotypes and sexism in daily lives and popular culture. Apart from learning basic gender studies concepts like sexism and intersectionality, students will also acquire skills to debunk gender myths and develop a more diverse workplace as future leaders.
